かやくご飯 Rice mixed with Chicken and Vegetables

●Ingredients (4 servings)

Rice 2 cups 360g
3 cups Dashi(broth) 600cc
1/2 tbsp salt
1 Tbsp Mirin
3 Tbsp light soy sauce
Chicken thighs 200g
Konnyaku(Yam cake) 50g
4 fresh shiitake mushrooms
carrot 50g
Mitsuba(trefoil) 1/2 bunch
pinch salt

◆Directions

1.Cut chicken into 1cm cubes, and briefly parboil.

2. Cut Konnyaku into 3cm thin strips, and briefly parboil.

3. Remove stems from shiitake mushrooms and slice thinly.

4. Parboil Mitsuba briefly in salted water, cool in cold water and drain.

5, Place rice adding water based on water measure, dashi with seasonings and
all ingredients except mitsuba in a rice cooker, mix lightly to spread chicken and
vegetables, and cook.

6. Let stand for about 10 minutes, add mitsuba and mix so that rice, chicken
and vegetables are combined well.
